LesFex - see, it's time to rearrange your thoughts! You "put off" tasks to take a break. But taking a break SHOULD be a task just like any other! It's not that other things are put off. It's that everything is scheduled when it fits well, and that includes time for your health and sanity smile That should include weekends too!

I think women feel useless if they aren't constantly busy. I get so caught up in busy-work that I don't even know that I am doing it until I start raising my voice to people. Then it clicks "freeze". So even though I am addicted to making lists. I make a weekly schedule of what I need to do and accomplish daily. Whatever does not have to be done by the end of the week, gets pushed out the the next week. The really cool thing is that many things end up taking care of themselves and other things end up being forgotten. So, in the end, you are doing less. Let things go...It works for me. Mattie

Mattie - that is very true. We want to "feel busy" even if what we are doing isn't healthy for us! Having "calm time" is very important to our health and should be on that schedule just like everything else!

I love making lists - but a key part of making a list is really giving thought to if things SHOULD be on a list. It's easy to toss things onto a list because you feel should do something. But sometimes when you sit back and really think about it, you realize you do not WANT to do it, and there's no reason to do it.

Fill your world with things you want to do, that reach you towards your goals.

Good for you Jilly!! Get out and enjoy that fresh air!
