i'm not too new, but new enough not to know this:

1. is there a way to post pics?

2. how do you private message?

3. how the heck do you get those little smiley guys in place?

When you push the reply button (not the quick reply) you will see the posting icon right under the subject box. Click on which ever one that you want and the icon will show up with the subject. If you wish to place a smiley in your post the smiley box is to the far left in the post box and click on it and it will show you the smiles you can choose from.

The second link from the left next to post shows a little world icon and you click on that and it will ask you for the URL link you wish to add. Add it and then click ok. It will ask you for a name for the web link. Put the name and then click ok.

The private messages you find under my stuff when you are at the Bella Forum page....hope I have helped. Connie

butterflywing - Connie very much covered it, but it will help you to know that if you click on FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) which is on the right above, just below where you see "Welcome butterflywing (Log Out)" you will be able to find the answers to many questions. If you click on the smiley face that is also there you will be able to change the face that is next to your User Name.

Another method to use for sending a Private Message is to click on the User Name of the member you want to message. After you click, several options will appear and sending a PM is one of them.

Hi, you have to set it up to send you replys. Go and edit your profile. I don't remember exactly where it is but it is in there I believe.

I went looking for how you do it and don't remember, but it is there somewhere. (-: Maybe someone else can help?

How have you both been? Sewing lots and waiting for spring? You both (living in coastal states) probably already have spring. We're still cold and knee deep.

thank you all for your help. i found it under my stuff, pushed the right button, i hope, and changed my avatar for kicks. also figured out what it means when a little envelope flies on my forum task bar. thanks, grannyh and you, donna rae.
