If you are like me you like a clean house but you don't like to be cleaning constantly. I read an article with tips on how to speed clean.

1. Clutter - pick up clutter (i.e. old newspapers and mail)sort and put away
2. Floors - a clean floor can make a house look clean - do a quick sweep or run the vacuum
3. Kitchen - tackle dirty dishes and wipe down counters and sink
4. Bath- wipe down toiled, sink, faucet, floor with antibacterial spray

What are you quick tips for speed cleaning?

Scotty, that about says it all.

I try to keep my kitchen counters clear and get the dishes out of the sink and either washed and put away or put in the dishwasher. A quick go over every day after dinner or before bed helps a lot.

Sometimes I enter the house through my front door and look at the entryway as a guest. I try to keep it clear and neat.

One thing I inherited from my mother was the obsession about keeping the kitchen table free of clutter.

Staying on top of the things that cause piles is a big clutter-buster. Opening and sorting mail WHEN it arrives will keep it from stacking up. Folding laundry as it is produced keeps it from piling up.

Something else about laundry--if you do a load or two a day, it can keep it from overflowing the laundry baskets. (as long as you don't have quadruplets!)

We won't talk about the hall closet - where we stash and run!
