Posted a review of book, Then Along Comes An Angel,an anthology compiled by Julie Bonn Heath. The stories in the book are about times when people needed desparate help and someone interceded to help them, or about having dreams where an angel (or maybe God himself) tells you something vitally important. There are just heartwarming stories here that are good to read, especially at the holiday time of the year.
I was raised Catholic and had the wonderful gift of a Christian Grandma who truly believed what her religion taught. She told me that everyone had a guardian angel appointed by God to help when we needed it. And on her bedroom wall, where I slept more than at my own home, was the framed print "Guardian Angel on the Bridge" watching over two little children about to fall through a broken bridge. For years I believed I had an invisible angel who looked just like that one in the picture on Grandma's wall. Then I grew up and for a while I didn't even think of such things. Mostly I didn't think about God at all. Then life turned another corner, and I came back. Only this time with a true desire to study and figure out the Bible and God... and angels.
So when I got the chance to review this book, I was interested. I do know for sure that some force, something spiritual has interceded for me quite a few times, sometimes in the form of a person, sometimes in just odd circumstances.
Do you believe in angels? Do you have stories or instances where you KNOW help came to you from something or someone at just the right time that you can't fully explain?
