I like to do all I can with holiday meals to make diabetic-friendly dishes that everyone can enjoy. So, I just wanted to share a cranberry sauce recipe that I used last Thanksgiving. It was a hit with diabetic and non-diabetic diners alike.

I have never been able to find a ready made no sugar added cranberry sauce, so last year I made my own.

It's so simple. Follow the whole berry sauce recipe on the fresh cranberry package. Use Spenda instead of sugar, but use less. At least, I was glad I added and tasted because I thought much less Splenda was just right.

It's also better after refrigeration, so I always make it ahead. It's the perfect addition to turkey and dressing leftover recipes.

I hope you enjoy. Have a great Thanksgiving!
