I wanted to introduce myself- I'm the new homeschooling editor at BellaOnline. I have four kids (7, 5, 3, and 5 months). I look forward to a lot of great discussions here!

I'm also a homeschooling parent, though my four kids are spread out a bit more in age. My oldest is a young adult in full time college and my youngest is three. I look forward to your articles!
Hi, Kim, welcome. We homeschooled (actually, unschooled--hate that terminology) our kids starting in junior high and high school. Why we started then is a long story. (They subsequently did well academically in college--just feel compelled to say that so some people understand that unschooling is not goofing off.) Anyway, it was great. Now, our oldest daughter has a baby who will be unschooled. Our other daughter says she plans to do the same if and when she has kids. We're already gearing-up to be in homeschooling/natural learning (better term) mode for the grandkids.
