Hi everyone! Ok, let's hear it--what types of Halloween candy are you handing out at your house this year? We have not got our candy as of yet, but plan to this week. I like to hand out candy that I don't personally care for, that way it's easier not to sneak one or two here and there, lol!

I still have not purchaesd any Halloween candy, lol!
But, the sales on the candy improve each day, so I will give it a day or two.
Anyone else who still hasn't purchased their candy?

I always buy Halloween candy on that morning, because a. It is REALLY on sale then b. I don't want to be tempted to eat it any longer than necessary.

I like to hand out Kool-aid, Halloween pencils, gum, or little toy things.
My aunt gets all sorts of candy to hand out.

I don't hand out candy because I live in a rural area, but I do like to by candy corn for myself (lol) I probably shouldn't but it's so good, and a classic.
There is no greater gift than to love and be loved.

Last year we got little packets of gummy bears and the kids seemed to be quite happy getting those.
For kids that know us, I bake Halloween cookies. I cut them out in rounds and decorate them like jack-o-lanterns with butter frosting. The kids love those. I wrap each one separate in plastice wrap and the parents are ok with this because they know us. Most of the kids we know prefer to come in the house and eat their cookie and grab a pouch of juice.

That is sad, Rosie. Halloween used to be so fun for everyone.

Thanks you everyone, for all the replies! Who has leftover candy? More importantly, who has indulged in their leftover candy? Thus far, I've been good...knock on wood. Rosie, how did your Halloween night go? I hope it was ok and there were no problems!
