Well, I decided to take Neurontin. Lyrica caused weight gain for me. The Neurontin seems to help better than anything I've taken. I did have to get use to it because I was a zombie for a month, so I couldn't take it during the day at all. Now I can handle it twice a day, instead of the three times a day.

I think that this class of meds is a step in the right direction.

Lyrica made me feel on edge like I was pms. I found myself snapping at my friends and family when I was on it went off of it and a few days later that went away tried it again and it happened all over again also gained weight! and it did not help with pain what so ever!

Hi there, I started taking Lyrica a few weeks ago. I started off with low doses & I have worked my way up to 100mg in the morning & at lunch & 125mg a nite before I go to bed. I gained a couple of pounds but thats it. It seems to be working alright for me. I still have some arthritic pain in my back & hands. Have a great day:) Jackie
