Hi All,

The doll that I bought at our local flea market can be seen in This Article . I need your help, I have researched on the web and I can't find her name. I saw one picture of a similar doll which was attributed to Ideal Toys, but no name. I would also like to know approximately how old she is and if she talked. She has a circle of holes on her tummy but no string or any other mechanism I can see to make her talk. Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

And if you recognize her as a doll you had as a child, please share your memories.

I found her! She is "Saucy Walker" and she was made by Ideal from 1951 to 1955! She did originally cry for her Mama, but that doesn't work anymore. Considering she is as old as she is and I found her in a flea market I think she is in beautiful condition and I love her even more.

Do any of you remember Saucy Walker? I was born in 1953 so I don't remember her, she's too big and hard to give to an infant or toddler. Did anyone have one of them as a child?
