What is your most Favourite Cake, Bun or Pastries?

I love Gypsy tart and strawberry cream pies. As the latest article is on afternoon tea, what is your favourite? Even more, If you are really brave how OFTEN !! LOL

I love strawberry shortcake. but gave it up to be healthier! ;o(

Strawberries are very good for you! Cream isn't half bad either So now you only have to make a healthy version of shortcake ... and eat it in small amounts of course, savoring it

Good Idea, yes. I do use a low fat version of cream, called Elmlea, which is low fat, and tastes good. I love shortcrust pastry, so hopefully a bit of that is good too?!

Scones, cinnamon coffee cake, blueberry muffins....my list goes on. My sweet tooth is huge and very dominating

For the strawberry shortcake you can use angel food cake which tends to be lighter than traditional shortcake - taste great too!

I am a sucker for a good cheesecake. Not just any cheesecake - a REALLY good cheesecake. Rich with just a touch of sweetness and fresh fruit.

My other weakness is cream puffs. I have killer recipe for cream puffs covered in chocolate - yum - only make it about once a year as it is pretty rich (but still not that sweet).

I LOVE cheese cakes and rspberry pavalova (not together LOL!

Oh Yes Heather, mine too! I gave up chocolate for lent to learn willpower. But there are soooooooomany other treats
However, my skin is looking so much better

Cake: A chocolate so dark that it is practically black with a whipped topping frosting and pudding between the two

Pastry: Cream puffs

Buns: Sticky buns with the walnuts on top
