I had the opportunity to watch one of Dewitt Jone's presentations the other day - "For the Love of It." He's got a lot of good "stuff" to say about life and living

The most important thing, I think, that I took away from it all was a reminder to myself to practice what I preach to the students I work with. Don't focus on other people's perceptions when you're making decisions about your life. You need to do what you're doing for the love of doing it.

Life doesn't come with a written guarantee. Getting into the name-brand school, pursuing the MBA, working for a fortune 100 company--none of that means anything unless you're happy and loving life while you're pursuing it.

Do what you do because you love it. Because it brings a smile to your face. Because it fills your cup with joy. Do it, as Jones says, "for the love of it."
