Does Nioxin cause a bit more shedding when you first start using it? I've noticed that even some of my newer hairs have been falling. Is that normal? Can the scalp become weak after coloring your hair? Especially if you've had problems with TE in the past.

My scalp just feels a little itchy and I've noticed more hair fall after coloring. I'm thinking this is normal and it will subside with the Nioxin use.

Nioxin exfoliates the scalp. I have never seen it cause shedding of hair unless the hair was about to fall out anyway. Fall out (over the normal 50 hairs a day) almost always stops with regular use of Nioxin.
