BellaOnline Forums Health and Fitness Pregnancy Empty Sac measuring 6 weeks??

Hi! I just had u/s yesterday and sac measured 6 weeks, but no fetal pole or heartbeat. Doc. said not to worry, but scheduled another u/s for next week. Says it just might be too early. Should I be concerned? No bleeding yet, but I'm really worried. Had previous m/c at 10 weeks. Anybody have similar situation and end up with a successful pregnancy? I'd like to hear from you. Thank you.

Hi I know this is strange but I guess I was hoping to find out if you heard anything yet? I just had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Except I was only supposed to be 5wk 2days and the gestational sac measured 7wk 4days so now I know its a waiting game and I'm going crazy! I have read a bunch of info from other websites (medhelp.org) where people were talking about this; exept nobody had the measuring difference that I did. So that might be helpful for you to check out. It sounds like most people had a happy healthy pregnancy and a week or two later saw the heartbeat and a baby. Hope all goes well for you!

Just an update for you, Amber:

Bad news. Dr. has confirmed that I have miscarried at 9 weeks. Stopped growing at 6 weeks, and no heartbeat detected. Feeling very sad and disappointed. Good luck to you! I'm sure everything will turn out fine. I'll still be around if you need to talk.

Hi I wish I had an update for you. I am so sorry for your loss. My doctors office seems to be putting me off. They haven't event recieved my results on my blood work from last Wed. So I'm still trying to keep my hopes up but its hard.
