Mercilessly thrashed him, no! If that is how you see it, I am sorry. I felt he was rude and callous to someone who deserved not to be spoken down to. If I am wrong, and interpreted that incorrectly, I am sorry.

Yes, I feel that you are wrong. The man did not deserve this at all. He made a request for prayer and that should have been done or ignored. In Japan, if anybody requests us for prayer, we do not ask why, how and why not. One particular lady in this thread seems to have said yes first and then changed her stance. That looks very insincere. I believe that insincere prayers never work.

Lordsaveme,u r right when u say cdm is tharshed but it is also right that engee is thrashed as well.
she has apologised for all the tensions created.she says she did not point out what she disagreed with.
its not right to ignore her apology at all.cdm has also accused her too much.

yes, a prayer request should be respected everywhere and anywhere not only in Japan. And insincere prayers never work.

why dont we look at the whole thing with a neutral stand?

why dont the whole thing be put to rest?

those who wish to pray may pray sincerely and hope that the lord above will help cdm and all those who has problems(i think that goes for each soul).
those who do not, do not.

as simple as that!
i hope this altercation ends.

blessings to all!

The words "mountain" and "Molehill" spring to mind....
Tis is not what this thread was intended for....

Perhaps it would be time to just quietly walk away, with dignity and respect.

We must be mindful and state our cases, sure, but let us do it with love, respect and consideration.
Weigh your words.

I'm done here....

To pray or not to pray that is the question. I do believe that CDM's original request was for help, regardless of one's pathway or religion. I do believe he had that request granted. Noone here was wrong in what they had to say.

We all spoke our own particular brand of "truth". When someone asks for help.. and as I said, CDM did not just specify prayer, they have to understand that sometimes they might not be comfortable with the help that is offered.

I find it fascinating that we have not heard anything more from CDM himself concerning all of this.

What say YOU, CDM?

Let us accept each other as we find each other?

It is often difficult to express 'feelings' in type. I always try to make allowances for this.

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.
