I have come the spot in the game where Auron breaks through a wall and you come to battle a Semimorphe, (or I think that is what it is) I tried for almost an hour but I could not beat it. What do I need to do to beat it?

I'm trying to remember where he breaks through a wall. What was going on before the battle?

Im not sure if this is one i think it is, but i think u r on about the one in the macalana forest.
i fought this and beat it first time.use summons, lulus black magic and other things like power break, cheer etc because physical attacks do nothing. Its magic weakness changes, so keep using different magic, so it takes the damage, not absorbs it like it does when u use the wrong magic. Otherwise, keep healing and u should be fine. An easy fight if u ask me.

I�m not sure about that Thunder Water
coz I killed that "thing" before it used Thunder attacks.

U gotta hit it with different spells..
Notice how it changes elements.. and then hit it with the counterspell (fire-ice ect.)
it's really not that difficult once u get the hang of it..
dont use physical attacs, that doesn't help!!
i think it uses a pattern like; ice-thunder-water-fire. But im not sure
