Theo is not doing well, he is lethrgic, kind of bloated by his front fins, loss of color, and tends to drift down to the bottom of his bowl. Please help, if you know what could be wrong or how to treat it!! thanks, J
Did you do a water change? And have you been doing them consistently? Is he in a bowl or a tank? What size? What kind of fish is he? Is he by himself or in a community tank? What do you feed him? Have you tried any fish medications at all from the petstore? Did you try the old-fashioned salt bath that helps for many ailments? If he's a betta fish, you could try Betta-Fix: it's pretty mild compared to some other strong chemicals they have for specific diseases. How old is he? Has he has any other ailments in the past? What is his water temperature? I really hope he is o.k. Not eating is a sign of something serious, but we need more information to help. How are you doing?
Thanks, I put him in a warmer spot in the house and didn't feed him for a couple of days to fast. Then when I tried to feed him he wouldn't eat. After a while he did eat and soon after we gave him a water change. Now he's as happy and healty as before! -J
