Hey everyone....is everyone just busy busy? Our puppy is potty trained now! Yeah!! We are buying a new house and trying to get the appraisal to go through. It will be a challenge to get everything packed and all these feathered and fur babies moved to the new place! What is new with ya'll?

Connie - what a beautiful house. When do you find out if you will be getting it or not?

We found out yesterday that we got the house! The appraisal was what we were waiting for. We close November 28th. I am so excited!

I've also wondered where everyone is! Good to see someone posting. Congrats on the house, Connie!

Our plans for this weekend include going to the BirdMart in Phoenix. (Though we are promising each other that it's a look-not-buy trip! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )I'll try to give a little report on all the neat birds and stuff we get to see! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Congrats on the new house Conniem, it looks wonderful.
Moving is just soooooooo much fun, gosh all that packing. :rolleyes: We did it a few months back and I am still getting settled.

JeanM, I am so sorry about your trip to the Bird Mart. I read about it in the previous post. We were gone this weekend to my moms. I won't be visiting her for a while because of the move. You could call the coordinator of the Mart and tell them how you feel. We go to the one in Tulsa, Ok and they have strict rules about what can come in and what can't. A big no-no is selling unweaned babies. I have a friend that always has a table and she says if someone comes and they have problems with them then they put them on a list and don't allow them to return as a vendor.

Dawn, how far a move did you make? It is 90 miles to the new house. We plan to board the dogs at the vet and I think that will make things a lot easier for them. One of my dogs is very sensitive. She does not react to change well at all. When she is upset about something she will just not eat!

Not that far, just a few miles. Thank goodness.
You have quite a trip ahead of you. I am sure it will be worth it.
I hope your dog will be okay, you are probably right by going to board them at the vets.
This will probably make you feel a little better.

We are moving to Oklahoma, right now we live about 5 miles from Oklahoma. The little town we are moving to has 100 less people, the population there is 1200 and it is 1300 here. I do know 2 people that live there, one is the lady that I got Hannah from and another is a girl who's sister I went to school with. So that is nice to already know 2 people! The couple we are buying the house from told us a little about the neighbors and they sound like nice people. So I am hoping to make friends with the new neighbors. My neighbor across the street here is so sweet, we walk together and talk on the phone at least 2 times a week and visit often. I sure hope someone really nice buys our house so she can have a new friend! Connie

Its nice that you already know a couple of people in the new town Connie. That will make it easier to get to know others and since your new neighbours sound nice, I'm sure you'll fit right in.

How sweet of you to be concerned out your neighbour at your old house. It would be great if someone nice moved in there for her too.

My neighbor is an older lady in her late 70's. She has just cried over us leaving! I feel so guilty!! I tell her we will come back and visit. We are only moving 90 miles away so it won't be that far. Connie
