Hypothetical_Lies,

I have a couple of questions:

1. Do you have a teenage child in your house?

2. Do you collect antiques or have something from an estate sale?

3. How long have you lived there?

4. When did you first experience paranormal activity in the home?

1. no- we dont-

2. We dont really have any antiques.. and we havent bought anything from a garage sale in a long time

3. we have lived in this house for 2 years

4. Its been on and off- but nothing as noticable as the recent events since we moved in

Thanks for the response.

Have you ever done any research on the house or the property?

Usually it is the land that holds the energy which causes the haunting. That can explain how new homes (such as yours) can be haunted without anything actually taking place in the house.

It may not hurt to do some research on the property. You never know what was there years ago or what happened on the land.

Kris,

I am confused. You say:

"research has shown that in most of these cases, the phenomena is really due to psychokinesis [(energy generated by the brain)]... The agent is usually an adolescent entering puberty within the home"

Then you say:

"Usually it is the land that holds the energy which causes the haunting"

Aren't these mutually exclusive? If "usually" land holds the "energy" then it cannot be true that "in most cases" the "energy" is generated by the brain.

If "in most cases" the agent is a living adolescent, then it is usually a living adolescent that causes such phenomena, not "land that holds energy".

Could you please comport these seemingly contradictory statements?

Also, inlight of the evidence presented, could you explain why you apparently reject (while without comment) my contention that these manifestations are caused by a malevolent spirit?

The above is referring to poltergeists only.

"Usually it is the land that holds the energy which causes the haunting"

This is referring to residual and intelligent hauntings.

"Also, inlight of the evidence presented, could you explain why you apparently reject (while without comment) my contention that these manifestations are caused by a malevolent spirit?"

I have not investigated the case; therefore, cannot give my opinion on whether or not it is a malevolent spirit or any other type of spirit.

Hypothetical_lies,

I don't mean to be rude, because I'm truly fascinated by your post, but your post name "hypothetical lies" and the catch phrase at the bottom, "deception is my direction" leads me to believe that you're playing with us. Am I way off?

I dont find you rude at all! ^__^

In fact I swear I am being 100% Truthful.
My user name Is usually Hypothetical suicide, but that didnt fit. So I put Hypothetical lies instead, trying to make it a play on words.. maybe that didnt work. Like you're Hypothetically lying.. I dunno I'm quite weird with my user names.

Also the "Deception is my direction- like a soft whisper in your ear that leads you down the dark path" seemed like a good signature because I'm Hypothetically decieving you- because I'm really NOT decieving you...... does that make anysense..?

so in anycase- I promise that I am telling the truth about my ghost happenings. Why would I want to lie about something like that anyway? I'd have be a pretty low and depraved person. ^^

"Wilson" sounds delightful, and of course you have nothing to worry about. It sounds like he watches over you, and means no harm what so ever!"

i have to strongly disagree. I don't know how you could say such a thing based on the evidence provided.

"wilson" is causing physical damge in the real world around this poster. He: Knocked over and broke the patio table; he knocks things off of shelves at stores. He apparently deliberately frightens living things: scaring the chinchilla- freaks the poster out when he is in a place he is frightened of "in the basement since I HATE basement"; banging on the wall at 5am to wake the poster. This banging on the wall is only a mild form of the PHYSICAL ATTACKS on the poster - Throwing pennies at the poster's head, handling an electrical device in the same room where the poster is showering (does electrocution seem benign?). Do you see flipping the breaker in the basement and shutting off the electricity (it wouldn't only be the poster's room, almost no electrical circuits handle only one room) as innocuous? When the smoke detedctor doesn't work because power has been cut off, you might think different.

Exactly the opposite of what hypothetical and you think, Wilson is engaging in typical, really classic poltergeist fashion. This sounds like a malevolent spirit who is escalating its interference with the world of the living. There is no doubt that it grows ever more resentful of and dangerous to the living.

Don't play tricks with it - this is like teasing a mad dog. It has already told you that it is stupid "dumb" to attempt to trick it.

You should probably move before it is too late.

My professional opinion is: I couldnt disagree more

Stop fearing that which you dont understand, and research it from a scientific method.
