My favorite deck is the Thoth Tarot created by Aleister Crowley and illustrated by Lady Frieda Harris. Not that i am a great admirerer of Crowley or of his Ordo Templi Orientis; a western mystery school. What i do admire is the symbology and artistic detail that is present in this deck. The colors are lush and the neo-cubist images on the Trumps speak to me. i use this deck mostly for meditation and to get my daily draw card. For readings i like the Haindl deck or Morgan Greer. The Haindl, i find a bit difficult at times only because i get caught up in the art. I am thinking of using it as a meditation deck too and using my Morgan Greer and Rider decks as those for readings for others. Namaste, wMw

I've had the Morgan-Greer Tarot deck for eons but I never liked them (has nothing to do with the actual deck it's the company that made the back of the cards that just turned me off, gawdy blue with BIG white stars) so I recently treated myself with the Llewellyn tarot Deck. It's due to arrive at the end of the week! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It's refreshed my interest in Tarot.
I love my Robin Wood deck, I like the art, the ease of reading, I use it the most. For learning I like mythic tarot, the stories help me remember. I also enjoy my vampire deck, wickedly cool.
I would have to say mine is the Vertigo Tarot deck by Rachel Pollock with illustrations by Dave McKean. It's a very surreal deck that draws you in with the pictures and doesn't let go.

The Rider-Waite deck is my favorite. I like the simplicity. Also, the first time I had a reading done, I picked a deck of cards and I ended up with the same deck as my reader. I reazlied this once I opened the cards and saw the back of the deck.
Surprisingly it is the Rider Waite!! I use the Robin Wood for personal magick and spells and when I started out reading, I thought the Rider Waite looked gaudy and cartoonish!! Surprisingly the deck grows on you and "speaks" to me fantastically as I'm into Kabbala and Rider Waite is basically a Kabbalistic Deck(I still dont like its color scheme yet!) blessed be' Jay
Oh I don't have one deck of mine I dislike...jumping right in there on the forum as a newbie
Morgan Greer which has no borders and blown up images...(as my eyesight isn't that good after a car accident i am left with a blue aura across my eyes) which they couldn't find much reason for.
Connoly Tarot I find interesting as a meditative tool
Hanson Roberts deck nice small deck easy to carry around with me.
