Hi,
I am trying to find a gift for my little cousin, but I have no idea what to get a 7-yr-old girl?? One of my co-workers suggested these Bed Buggs that you can buy online. They look super cute and they're only $5.99 - definitely in my price range, but I would love to get an opinion from some moms or at least anyone else who knows kids. Thanks!!

Is she into barbie? Or arts and crafts? Or some type of game.

Arts and crafts are a good idea. She is a very "girly" little girl - I was thinking about maybe getting her a bead kit so she can make her own jewelry. I could probably get that and still get a couple of the bed buggs. Do you think she would like that?

It sounds good. I have 5 cousins all girls, and when it came to Xmas crafts such as bead kits; are what I got them, they range from tomboys to girly-girls. I think gifts like that are good for girls up to age 10-11. Hope I helped and that you find something!

I have a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old (and a7 yr old niece) and they all LOVE Polly POckets - all types. The like the small kind, the kind with "real" (HA!) hair, the magnetic kind...they range from $4-$30 for a doll and some clothes and stuff. You can get a decent set with a treehouse or house or beach set for around $9 at Target or Wal-Mart. I found a lot of the $20 sets on clearance at Toys R Us for $9 too.

Also, I VERY highly recommend the Cranium Games, especially Cadoo and Conga which are for the 7 and up age range - though we played with younger kids in teams with an adult reading. I just bought a few to stock up for bday and xmas gifts, they are on sale this week for $12 each at Target, they are normally around $20. I swear I buy a cranium game for every birthday party my girls are invited to <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for all the suggestion!! I am going to head to the store this weekend and check out the bead kits, and maybe the cranium games. I love Cranium - I had no idea they even made them for kids!

Thanks for all the great ideas. I gave her the Cranium game and the bed buggs and she absolutely loved them both! Someone else got her a jewelry kit so that worked out perfectly.
