Me too! And I seriously doubt those who claim to have been 'cured'. I feel that it has been suppressed, not cured, and time will prove this to be true in their lives.

I can remember when parents believed it was right to force a naturally 'left handed' child to be right handed. This has since proved to be harmful. I see these efforts to 'cure' Homosexual Identities in the same light.

There is a ministry in Wichita, Kans. that has treated and cured hundreds of homosexuals. Many of whom are now happily married with children. It can be done. It is successful and it should be done.

Dave, they are probably the married women who find after a while that it isn't working. It possibly explains why so many lesbians have been married!

Right. Successful. And the 100's they've cured are now in long-term therapy attempting to recover from the "cure." I have a client who suffered through one of those "ministries." We're hoping his therapist can undue the damage.

All that will do is confuse him/her and might put them at risk of suicide.

Your so busy in your neighbors business, you can't be about your fathers business. If you spend the rest of your life acting exactly as Jesus did, you'll be quiet busy for about 33 more years, and by then I think a whole lot more inlightened.

I think we all have our own opionions and we all think we are right about them. I personally like to hear other people's views whether I think they are right or wrong. Just because someone doesn't agree with me or I feel judged by them doesn't make me any less wrong or right but gives me a different avenue to explore in that area and let's me know where that person is coming from so I can prevail against their mindset if I feel it is discrimnative. Forums will always be places where differnt people meet with differnt mind sets. I find it more helpful to consider what the person is saying and remain unoffended. But then that is just me.

Instead of having "answers" on a math test, they should just call them "impressions," and if you got a different "impression," so what, cant we all be brothers? (Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy)

I agree with each having differing views, but when someone shoves your nose against their window panes, it causes pain. I just read "Stones from the River" in it there are reminders how how to speak and live with concern that ones view does not obstruct the vision of others. I want to lean as much as possible absolutly, but not have the book hureled at my soul, nor my head for that matter.

I agree with you and I hope you didn't interpet that I was talking to you. I was just making a general comment due to past experience where I have been on some forums that started out wonderful and then turned into a mud pit where it was more of a gladiator versus the lion type of situation than a forum bringing forth ideas.
No offense intended!

I didn't read anything offensive. I thought you were speaking from experience.

I find it interesting people who wear these WWJD things and such and live these lives that are quite unholy ;0)
