When transplanting container plants, use a plastic pot with drainage inside a decorative planter. This will help reduce the need for watering in the heat and wind of summer outdoors and the dry heat inside in winter.

Reduce watering indoors in winter.

Hello one and all,

Here is a revived forum post for all who may not have time to wonder through the old pages and all.

Of course it is a good tip and to it I will add that you should lift your plastic container in your decorative container (which does not have drainage holes). Just use gravel or crock bits or big pebbles. You do not want your plant to lie in water in case you watered too much.

Do you have any other quick container tips?

Cheers now
