I went to school with a girl named Jewia (spelled differently, pronounced the same). She got called "Julia" a lot, by accident. I always kind of liked the name, though.
Isn't there a famous gymnast named Elfie Schlagel or something like that?
But I grew up in a hippie town, I know 2 kids named Che (after Che Guevara... neither of the kids I know is hispanic), Several people named after songs or bands from the 60's thru 80's (Rhiannon, Angie, Asia, Cassady), a girl named Strawberry, a boy named Rainbow (called Bow)... and there was this phase in my town for awhile where everyone named their kids old-lady names: Esther, Ruth, Miriam, Mabel, Mildred.
Apple and Hazel and Phinnaeus don't shock me much. Frankly, my own name was weird in its normality.
