As I've explained in this article:

Names

Names in dreams are often a play on words. In this book:

Bereavement Dreaming

The author tells of a dream from her deceased son. He introduced her to a friend whose name was almost identical to the therapist that she needed to see for her grief.

Joe's presence was felt in a dream I had night before last, on the 30 day anniversary of his death. There was a line of wooden signs, the cheap kind you see at dollar stores for seasons and holidays. The first was broken and was given to someone named something like deejay mixin. Then there was something about John or Jim Belushi

What might these words translate to?

Wood
Wooden
Signs
deejay
mixin
John
Jim
Belushi

I won't share what I came up with until I see some responses - but I will share that Joe loved sushi......

Maybe he's eatin' sushi with Belushi?

Nobody wants to try?

Of course, the main message is 'follow the signs.' The broken sign may be a warning to stay away from this deejay person - or follow them.

Wooden signs = would you sign, as in signature, maybe?

Now, that would make sense - maybe do/don't enter into a business venture with someone with that name?

I wonder if Deejay might be DJ.

I'm not sure about the others.

maybe the first broken sign was to deter you from following the rest of them?
the fact that as you said they are cheap...that perhaps any venture that you enter into with someone from this deejay mixin or belushi line may be trying to cheap you out.
Like dragon asked...was it 'deejay' or 'dj'? Im assuming from your familiarity wiith dream interpretation and details that it was 'deejay'.
As for belushi...being the ripe old age of 26 I only know him for the blues brothers/SNL/chemical dependency. I realize there are 2 of them and they are brothers I just cant place the one that isnt deceased at the moment.

I think you're both right about the name or initials - and, in fact, there is someone with similiar initials who has invited me to check out an opportunity, and they have been betrayed business-wise recently by someone else.

John is the one who died of a drug overdose and Jim is the younger brother who looks just like him, but I don't know what he's been up to. And actually, which first name wasn't very clear, but Belushi was.

I've come up with

Be loose she
Be love she

Would be loose she

I know the dream was a strong message - I've rarely had words stand out like that before.

I'm definitely keeping my eyes and ears open - and watching for signs!

Whoa Parthena, this one is setting off warning bells to me. In the UK if we talk about someone 'mixing it' we mean they are making trouble. Does it have the same meaning in the US? Look out for the person with the initials DJ & if you enter into any dealings proceed with caution.

As for Jim Belushi...no ideas as yet
