Do you dress up for formal night. I'm planning on it, but my boyfriend will eat elsewhere, he's not a dress up type I'll go with my mom and sis.

He's just a jeans type of person, and I accept that about him So I find other people to go to dress-up things with! Unfortunately I just discovered that the Majesty has only one formal night, not two. I was really looking to dressing up several times too, since I normally wear sweats every day. This was going to be my Life of Luxury week I suppose I can dress up anyway ... it just won't be quite the same if everyone around me is in tshirts and jeans ...

Dress up every night - it is encouraged. I don't know if you are permitted to wear jeans to dinner. What line is the Majesty?

Right, the Majesty's rules don't allow jeans to dinner but people always try anyway. The Majesty is with Norwegian, it's their smaller ship that goes to Bermuda

We cruised on the Star once. It was pretty nice but more casual than Princess.

my husband hates to dress up..it's a pity really, because it makes ME dress down, and I so enjoy a real night out!

My boyfriend is jeans only. It is sort of annoying. It's fun for me to go out dressed up with female friends - but sometimes I really want that romantic evening with my special guy ...

at the wedding, Dan said "this is the ONLY time you will ever see me in a tux," which is too bad, since he looked so darn good.

People just dress super casually today. I think people looked really attractive years ago but with the trashy stuff people wear today, many look downright ugly.

It really is a shame, what's so bad about wearing formal clothes? They don't "hurt". Surely you wouldn't wear grungy, ratty old paint stained pants to a special occasion with someone, regardless of what the occasion is ... it's almost a sign of disrespect, that you didn't even care enough to put on something special for the occasion ...
