I live on the waterfront(backyard) and my front yard is the marsh. Hurricane Ivan destroyed all wildlife and not many people live around here. Anymore. I felt if anything it was safer for my kitty to be out. I would not have let them out if I felt anything was a danger to her. This was mid-January, and we had a lot of workers from everywhere descend on NW Fla to help rebuild, she looks like an expensive persian tabby but is a mixed domestic long hair. I feel she is gone because at the beginning of April I was traveling over the bridge (3 miles long) and all of a sudden smelled and tasted nutmeg (the spice). That is also her name. I was on my way to work and when I got home that night, I found out my uncle's husband had died that same day. ?? One of these days I am going to find out what time the uncle died.
Hi firefly,
You're in my thoughts and I hope you've found your furbaby.
I also wanted to mention that it is not healthy to become too fixated on dreams coming true. We attract what we focus on, and if you get wrapped up in every negative or tragic dream as coming true you can actually attract these things to you.
Remember that dreams speak in symbols. The first thing you should do is to identify those symbols and look at them as representations of the self or situations, rather than taking them literally. For instance, death in dreams represents the end of a phase in life and very rarely symbolizes actual physical death.
Here are some articles on the symbols in your dream:
