hey guys whats happening, any1 here ever done any modeling, Ive just recently gotten into modeling and I went to this agency called models standout, this is there site if anyone wants to check it out <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The only modeling agency I have heard of is Barbazon (I am not sure if that is how you spell it). I have had many people tell me I should get my daughter into modeling a beauty pagents but I am afraid of all the horror stories I have read. My sister in law was in numerous beauty contests and pageants and was even in some local store advertisements. So my mother in law suggests this too me alot.
I would just beware of any of those modeling sites/agencies. One of my friends said she heard about people having bad experiences because they pay upfront...

Aside from paying a photographer to help you build a portfolio, you shouldn't have to pay money to join a modeling agency. I think Barbazon is more like a modeling and acting school. Those kinds of programs don't help people get jobs. They just help one gain a little more self-confidence.
