Merry Meet everyone!

I write in seek of advice.
For those of you who know the what seems to be a never ending battle with quitting smoking may truly understand my need for some advice!

For the past few months I have willfully decided to quit smoking, but deciding is the easy part!
I have tried several methods and for the past while have been smoking "pixy" puffs, but as of late been giving into the craving. I was wondering if anyone had first hand advice on certain rituals or spellcraft I could use, that will help me on this journey... Anything in mind?!!. I will openly accept anything that is offered!

I think part of your ritual might involve letting go of anything that is actually a replacement for or symbolic of your smoking. Keeping a behavior that resembles the one that you are trying to stop makes it harder.

A woman in one of my ritual groups locally used to be a smoker and chewed gum like crazy. However, she took a look one day at all the gum in her house, and thought about how much she chewed, and decided she merely replaced one behavior with another, not really freeing her from anything. She brought all her gum to our last ritual and put it on the food altar for anyone else to take away. A bunch of us all left with a pack or two of gum and she accomplished her goal of sending all that gum out into the universe.

I would suggest that you do your ritual work on a saturday during a waning moon (when the moon is getting smaller). That will put a bit more of that removal energy into the work.

I have also heard that amythist is a good stone for reducing addictive behaviors. You might want to look for a piece of amythist to use as a "worry stone" when a craving hits
