Greetings! I am from south Louisiana but I am now living in Mississippi. I have an interest in my Cajun heritage so I am looking forward to reading the articles and the discussions on this topic!

Thanks for the welcome. I have lived most of my life in Terrebonne Parish, which is where my Mother was born and raised. My Mother's family is definitely Cajun. My Father's family is a mix of French, Cajun, Creole and Houmas Indian.

My husband is from Biloxi, Mississippi so we are now residing closer to his hometown.

As for secrets I can share...I can only toss my ideas and experiences in.
