That Bobby is some cat! Who wouldn't want him in their classroom? I guess the only concerns I have for him are for his safety being outdoors--traffic, and all the other stuff he might encounter that are not nearly as healthy or as nice as just being a school cat.

Too funny. I like the last line, "he's got lizards to check out." Thanks for the chuckle.

Very cute story. I'm glad Bobby has a real home too and not just a school cat. My Smiley dog was a school yard dog. She lived across the road from the school and was there every morning to greet the kids as they got off the bus, and she stayed until breakfast was over and the kids walked from the cafeteria building to the main building. Then she'd return at lunch and recess and back again at the end of the day to say goodbye to everyone. If the weather was nice and phys ed was held out side she was there for that too. I worried about her crossing the road so much during the day so I had to take her home with me. The people that "owned" her didn't want her anyway. So I'm with you Leequi on worrying a little bit about the cat's safety and the traffic. But if he's been doing it for two years, maybe he's a street smart, as well as book smart, cat. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
