I will be checking back every day for those interested in maintaining the interior and exterior of your vehicle. And as a note of interest, you can increase your gas mileage by taking care of the exterior of it.

Hi Gary,
I have a question about protecting my vehicle's finish. I don't have a garage or car port where I live. My car pretty much sits outside in the elements year around. Right now, the pollen is leaving a fine yellow powder on it. I also have problems with tree sap and UV rays from the sun. What is the best way for me to protect the finish. Will waxing help?

Hi Missy,
I just wanted to share with you something I use on my car and takes off the bugs and tar with ease. It's called MelaMagic. It's safe and non toxic.
My neighbor uses Diamond Brite on his black SUV and loves it because it doesn't spot after and cleans bugs and tar really great also. (*it's a dishwashing liquid and it's completely safe for your car!)

WOW....deep apologies for the long delay in posting a response. I have never heard of either of the two products mentioned here but if you can provide a URL where I can find these products, I would like to see what they are all about. Thank you. I use a variety of products and will be posting WHAT I use for vehicles when I polish and detail them, and what I published in my book--The Million Dollar Look!

Gary, have you ever heard of "Black Magic"? How is it as a car polish? What do you recommend for taking care of our 2003 Taurus in terms of wax, etc.?
Thanks!

BLACK MAGIC, as far as I know, or the Black Magic I am aware of is used for the black trim, and all black vinyl rubber, etc., on your vehicle. If there is a BLACK MAGIC that is an auto polish, I am not aware of it.

Hi Gary, Here's the link to Black Magic wax. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/rodi/blmawetshliw.html It's pretty well-known, although we haven't used it. We're in the market to try something new on our 2003 Taurus. Thanks anyway. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the information. I have requested a sample from them to see how good the product is. I have never seen it before. GK - Auto Polishing & Detailing Host
