Who gets the praise when you get a new job? a promotion?
Who gets the credit when you get up in the morning feeling good?
Who gets the glory for a beautiful day? or a cloudy day? or rain?

When I read the newspaper, only bad news most of the time, I see what could be my fate. It is only by the grace of God that I have the life I have. Thank you Jesus.

How about hard times? Should I thank Him then?

Yes, we should thank Him in hard times too. Notice I didn't say "for" hard times. Even IN hard times we can find something to thank Him for. When I see a storm coming I can be thankful that I can SEE it, etc.

Thanks for the reply Judy.
We can also thank Him that he is making us stronger. He's preparing us for something.

If we believe in God, then we should pray to give us daily strength.
P praise God and give thanks for we have
R repent for our sins (even small ones, like impatience)

Sorry, I hit the wrong button...I wasn't finished with the anagram of PRAYER...

P praise God; give thanks for all our blessings
R repent; list our sins, even small ones
A ask forgiveness and believe it will be given
Y tell God what you yearn for

It is truly an easy way to pray and covers every aspect of our life and what christian living means
