Anyone been watching this season? I'm interesting in hearing what people think about the show and the future of "Star Trek" as a franchise. 'Cause I keep hearing it's close to dead.
Last season of Enterprise??Well, it certainly appears that this is the case. This week was the last show of any sort being considered in this 18 year run...be sad a legend has passed ... <img src="/images/graemlins/beamedup.gif" alt="" /> for the final time?

I never could fall in love with this show. I loved the idea of the show but the characters were just too distant. The captain always seemed angry and very jaded right from the start. Not at all what I would think the first person to captain a star ship would be like. Granted they were going into the unknown which could and most probably would cause a certain amount of apprehension but still I would think a person in that position would be honored and very excited and even have a bit of wide eyed innocence about them. I think the show would have lasted longer if it had been handled differently. With it being "the beginning" it should have been more positive and uplifting. If the producers wanted to show a darker side of things they should have slowly peeled away the crews innocence throughout the series story-lines. I can't say I'm all that sorry to see Enterprise leave the stage but I will be sad if it ends the Star Trek world.
I concede your point, if things were different they wouldn't be the same. ~Author Unknown
