I haven't seen the show because I don't have HBO, but I've put the first disc of the DVD on my Netflix queue to see if we like it (we suspect we will!) Then, it's on to the other 5 or so discs!

OHHH Janet, you are gonna be hooked! Just keep something to drink next to you while you watch, there is so much dust, you'll feel like cleaning your own house! HA HA! PS- It starts slow, so give it a few episodes- when I first started watching I was going' If something doesnt happen in this episode, I am done!"

I have been thinking about the relationship between Sophie and Apollonia - how they communicate and how they "forsee" .... so many great characters. I think Sophie is my favorite... and you?

Thanks for the heads up on the show starting slow, Letitia! Believe it or not, I thought LOST was slow at first (I began the show at the third episode), but now I'm hooked on it! If I'm not mistaken, there is an actor--a little person--who is on Carnivale that was also on the wonderful show Twin Peaks.

Yes- the character "Sampson" played by Michael J. Anderson . Loved him in Twin Peaks, and he is a perfect leader of the Carnivale in the show.... this is Sampson...

Anderson has the best FACE, I mean he can act his little fanny off! I like a lot of the characters, even the ones on the edge. The lizard guy sounds like he came from Brooklyn! I can get enough of him. Management of course and Clancy! Who can't love a minister? Well the new season starts soon! Dont resist!!!

So I cannot believe they just threw Lodz in a ditch! Sampson did not even give him a proper burrial... no words... just like a piece of trash. Ben is off on a mission... but does not know the complete significance of his quest. Brother Justin was tapped... but why was he approached in the recording studio>? Any thoughts? Theories?

Also, was there money in Lodz jacket? I thought I saw his money was still there, if he had left he would have taken his money

OMG, I so don't want to hear Lodz was thrown down the hill! I love him! I enjoyed Patrick Bachau in both VR5 and The Pretender.
I have 6 episodes under my belt, Letitia. Can't wait for the next DVD to arrive! :music:

Don't be sorry! LOL I just meant that I really like his character. Please, continue to discuss! I'll just try to keep one eye closed so I don't see anything...
I thought for sure Bachau was in VR5... Hmm. Maybe I'm wrong on that... It's been so long! I thought he was a guest character or something...

The acting from Ben was really good last week. The guy with the hump too, although He looked like Stumpy to me. I think the Hoochie Coochie family or Cooch family as they call them in another forum, that whole thing is not interesting. so he has a gambling habit and he is pimping his wife and daughter. Meh!
