Turns out CBS is getting tough when it comes to actor's who try and hold out for more money. Both actors were fired for breach of contract on the very first day of the new shooting season. http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/07/16/tv.actors.fired.ap/index.html I'm gonna be really cranky on Thursdays without my Nick Stokes fix.... <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

you know what though, i would've fired them too.
i heard they get paid 100,000/episode, in a 24 episode season.
they were demanding more than 2.4 million a year?!
i heard grissom's going to quit though, due to the Miami and the new NY getting more press than LV. If Grissom leaves the show will never recoup, he makes that show.

And now, everyone's back! Bet a few of the folks involved with the show wish they could have skipped the part involving the copious press releases.
Given that a single 30 second commercial on a top show can run into the millions, personally, I think the talent end of the show does deserve more than they make. They usually aren't involved in profits from spin-offs or DVD rentals the way the producers are.

I like the original best too. CSI Miami is too sexy. I understand it is sunny Miami, but some of the clothes are a little too much for a bloody crime scence. I haven't had a chance to watch NY but a couple of times.

Rae, I agree that the talented, acting end of this CSI show deserves a larger portion of the profits from the success of this show. It is a shame that they don't get anything from DVD sales or spinoffs.

I have the CSI game-with the original cast, I bet the company makes TONS of money off that and they make nothing even though they used their voices in the game.
I neveer solved the one with Warrick- HE HE!
