Anyone else watching this?It is doing what scifi mini series tend to do...not be as good as they c/should be. It started last night and will repeat part I and then show part II tonight.I'm still watching; but I'm recording and watching.

I watched the movie and it appeared to be a blend of Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings but fell short of both these epics. I was not impressed, even the ending appeared to be something from the Conan series.
Yeah I agree.Sci-Fi channel tends to do that.Something looks great and has wonderful potential then it wallows to a standstill...That Speilberg thing with Dakota Fanning was good..... :rolling:

Many of the Made For TV movies on the Sci-Fi channel are at best ho-hum and I agree with you Roni, the previews look promising. I still like some of the series though i.e. The Stargate series. Some of the other programs are too terrible to evem be a joke.
