Well you hear about Midlife Crisis but to me it has been the best part of my life.

Not working, doing my own thing, taking up hobbies in my case linedancing, going holidaying when I feel like it not worrying about work rostas etc.

Would not go back to my younger days for anything.

I agree! Any time of your life is only as good or bad as you make it. I like reading about health issues and my husband and I live a very healthy life so hopefully we will go into this stage of life with little or no health issues. We're both 55 and not on any meds and have no real health problems. I walk an hour a day and work at home, which I love. I also volunteer, which I think is important for keeping a good outlook on life.

Your attitude is everything. As far as getting old, my mother always said "Well, consider the alternative."

When does midlife stop? When does old age begin? Are there stages to old age? Young old? mid old? old old? Frail?

There is no time when these think start. It is all in the mind. I am nearly 60 and have never exercised so much in my life and have never enjoyed life as I do now.

Enjoy life to the fullest what ever stage you are supposd to be.

I do not consider myself as aged at all. I try to retain my child like curiosity. So no question to worry about midlife.

Sixty was wonderful, 65 is better because I get lots of discounts and all of you kind taxpayers give me Medicare. Can't beat that.
