Is anybody making their fall foliage plans yet? Where do you like to go?

I love Vermont myself

I'm lucky, I live in utah, right below the mountains, so when I want pretty leaves, I just hike up the cottonwood canyons.

New England is wonderful for its fall foliage. But I fortunately have relocated to an area that rivals it. Fall here in Western NC is as vibrant in color as NE and it's all around me here in these beautiful appliacian mountains. I think we're in for an early fall this year because of the drought ... already seeing signs of color here and there, especially in the Dogwoods. I noticed a start of color in some of the Bradford Pears as well. One difference here though is we stay warm into November!

So you're having a drought too Chris? The trees are already turning out here too. Most of the color is to be found up in the mountains here. There are many colorful trees, but nothing compares to the beauty of the rocky mountains in full fall. The news out here even has a special segment on the premium fall days

Hi there! Sorry I haven't been around this week. I just finished up my class at VU.org (Virtual University). Got a 100 in each class! Yea! I also started homeschooling this week. So with that said. I have made plans for late October to go to the White Mountains with my mom. We take a little weekend trip every year in October.

Since I live in New England I see a good portion of the fall foliage in my regular travels so I don't have to make special plans to see it
