Thirty years ago I got interested in orchids and bought a few plants but a divorce and remarrage interupted my interest.
A few months ago I saw orchids at Walmart and got one to see if it would like the place I have to put it. I could not resist buying a few more.
One of the things that frustrated me the MOST about trying to learn to grow orchids is to be told that you can grow orchids on your windowsill and NOT be told that they will not bloom if exposed to light at night.
One of the plants I bought at Walmart now has a new bloom spike and I wait with baited breath for it to open it's buds.
