Anyone see Xmen 2: Xmen United, yet? I saw it last night. LOVED IT!

Who are your favorite characters? Why? Does any of them remind you of yourself? What was your favorite scene/s? I admit, I thought it pretty cool how Magneto escaped from his platic prison by extracting the excess iron in the guard's blood. (Put there by Mystique with an injection to the derriere.)

how could I not love Nightcrawler the most? what with all those great scars AND he's blue....

Seriously, having studied makeup in college, I love these incredible full body makeup jobs that the actors are willing to endure. I found Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan as charming as always. And I liked when Bobby gave Rogue his grandmother's white leather opera gloves to wear. Very classy and just the thing for summer.

Hey, I loved Nightcrawler, too! I liked the Christian/mystical element to it (the symbols from the Archangel Gabriel), as well as his accent and demeanor. The opening of the movie where he was teleporting around in a cloud of smoke was AWESOME. I was fascinated by his make-up, and as always, Mystique's as well. Really great casting. I don't know why they don't develop Cyclops more, though. He seems pretty one dimensional.

I admit, when I saw Pyro toasting the police I thought "I'd have done the same thing!" <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I read that RRS was hoping that they'd be able to digitize her makeup, but alas, it was back to the usual for this movie. I agree...major endurance!
