Ophiuchus the Snake Bearer represents the healer Asclepius who was a god of healing in classical times. He was associated with snakes - symbols of wisdom and regeneration - and in the sky he's entwined with Serpens. Here's a selection of some of points of interest in his constellation. Johannes Kepler's book with his observations on the 1604 supernova was titled De Stella Nova in Pede Serpentarii [On the New Star in Ophiuchus's Foot]. Here's a copy of his drawing showing the location of the supernova. It's a bit difficult to see, but you'll have guessed where it is from the book's title! It's marked with an "N" on Ophiuchus's right foot.

EarthSky's Bruce McClure says Tonight, look for the faint constellation Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer. From the Northern Hemisphere, look southward at nightfall. From the Southern Hemisphere, look more overhead around mid-evening. From all parts of Earth, Ophiuchus crosses the sky westward as Earth spins under the sky, and as evening deepens into late night. Ophiuchus is sometimes called the 13th or forgotten constellation of the zodiac.
The sun passes in front of Ophiuchus from about November 30 to December 18. And yet no one ever says they're born when the sun is in Ophiuchus. That's because Ophiuchus is a constellation - not a sign - of the zodiac. Get the whole story in Ophiuchus, 13th constellation of zodiac.

Here's a diagram of the Wolf 1061 system, showing the three planets with the habitable zone shaded in. Two of the planets are thought to be superearths and the third might be, but is probably too massive.

Even over a few years, Paul Mortfield & Stefano Cancelli were able to show the proper motion of Barnard's Star . This is motion against the background of stars too far away to show motion on this timescale, and it doesn't reflect the Earth's motion.
