Have you all heard about this? They announced this at the same party when they were celebrating the 200th episode. Please visit this site.
http://www.savestargatesg1.com/ It is a very organized campaign to save the show and Helen, the sci-fi editor from here is going to do an article about it. It has been featured on Conan a couple of times and they have raised enough capital to take an ad out in Variety.
Yes I heard about it in the TV guide. However, they are talking of making major motions pictures of SG-1 now. You know like the star trek films. It's time.
Actually they are saying TV movies like what they promised to do with Farscape and so far there has been only 1 Farscape movie. It would be great if it went to the big screen. I think it is family oriented enough to garner a wider audience than just sci-fi fans. I'm still very sad though. I will miss my sci-fi Fridays.
Hey the fans rallied and raised money for an ad in Variety. Take a look!

Well a show can only go for so long and then they start repeating themselves. Sci FI has all ready brought in new shows to fill the gap like Dr. Who, Eureka and I'm sure their will be others. However, I wouldn't be suprised if SG-1 made guest appearences on Atlantis. Besides I'm sure RDA is ready to retire for good.
