I think that Tie is going to make it out of the woods. All of the white stuff is gone, and I've almost beaten the fin rot. I picked up some Melafix today at Walmart... better deal than the betta fix, so I guess I'll try it. The only thing is, that one dose is 1tsp per 10 gallons, so I bought a 2 gallon pail and put 1/4 tsp in it, just bringing it up to temp.

Good to hear Mega ! Good work...and go easy on any changes once he gets through this all the way. Often times after a series of medication treatments the betta tends to fall ill easier for a time until they get thier strength back. This could take awhile.

Thanks! I did a water change today after the bettafix treatment, and i left out the gravel and the plant just to make sure nothing irritates his fins. Im keeping his tank good and warm... maybe I nipped it in the bud *Crosses fingers* <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
