Thank you for sharing your age - that information does color my response significantly.
As you may be aware, the Federal Trade Commission have issued guidelines regarding the privacy of children and youth on the web. Professional web designers keep these guidelines in mind and are very careful about the information they ask of people under the age of 14. Now, you are just beyond this age boundary, but you may still find that some web owners may still be reluctant to ask you for your website address, your name, your email and the like.

a) Use strategic metatags and keywords in your "head" tag to help search engines spider your site. This is the best advertising by far - being in the top search engines like Google.
b) Exchange links with other reputable sites. Don't fall for the Free For All Link sites but search around for well designed sites that promote a similar theme, product, service, etc. as you offer. Better yet, look for sites that complement your site. For instance if you sold web design packages you might want to link up with others who provide web hosting, or print design, etc.
c) Look for reputable databases and directories that are free of mega pop ups and list reputable sites. Avoid the "Top Sites" sort of listings.
d) Include your website address in your email signature, with a brief descriptive slogan, motto or informative snippet. Don't get involved in blasting it out to tons of people via email though. That would be spam.
