I bought the eyelash yarn from Lion Brand and made 2 of the scarves (the free pattern on the label) for my nieces. One is pink and white, and the other is pink and black. I love the eyelash yarn, it is so fuzzy, fluffy. Anyway, it was easy enough that even I could do it

That is great. I saw some of that eyelash yarn and wondered how hard it would be to work with. I would love to see one of them if you could take a photo. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I just finished up a sweater for my four year old. We moved to Idaho and I figure now I can finally get involved in knitting stuff for him. There was no need for sweaters in Arizona. I will have to take a photo - I am pretty pleased with how well it turned out. It was my first try at a raglan sleeve.

Hi Ladies!

Glad to hear the knitting bug has bitten you!

The scarves sound fabulous, and they are all the rage now, so you will be at the height of fashion too. Pictures please!

If you have some leftover, the eyelash yarn is a fun way to dress up the neck and cuffs of sweaters as well. This is especially true with kids' sweaters, and I've seen it done with a little girl's cardigan. It was absolutely beautiful, and really brightened up what would have otherwise been a rather plain sweater.

Happy knitting!
