I like the softness of John's voice, while he sings. The first stanza of his song had a direct impact on me because it touches on the fact that others can indeed see the effects of abuse. The latter part of the song is awesome because he teaches through his music, what it is for a man to love his family, and to be gentle and tender. Great song!

The first time I listened to your song, I replayed it about ten times...literally. What touched me most was the fact that you sang of 'seeing' the effects of the abuse. Many victims think the effects cannot be seen, when in fact they can. The other thing I liked about your song was that you spoke of what a 'real man' is and does. I liked how you touched on the tenderness and respect factor. Thank you for writing this song.
