aka ...Polish store...just came back from a stop at mine in the neighborhood. Most foods come from Canada...the Polish bread and pastries, meats. All the rest is imported from Poland directly. Once I step in the doors it transports me to a small store that my aunt went to in Poland....ah Nostallgia.

Just bought some polish ham, bread and some poppy seed pastry for lunch later. Smacniego smile

Anyone have (or lucky to have) a favorite deli in your neighborhood. (Chicago/Buffalo doesn't count)

I only have Polish 'skleps' around me here:)

But would be nice to gather links to websites of Polish shops to place on BellaOnline. Would you have some to promote? Good Polish Sklep with Polish ham and poppy? smile

Ok, so I did my small search myself:) I was wondering how easy it is to buy some typical Polish food (especially that the subject of my last article is salad:) - but that seems quite easy:)))

Polska Chata This is one I visit frequently. Recently they expanded to restaurant and entertainment too. (Polka bands)

Basia if you are on FB then check out Polish Food. They have a huge list of stores and websites of what is out there (and alot still not on their list)

You only have Polish stores in larger cities in my country.
And in area's on the countryside were a lot of Poles work in agriculture, construction or industry.

Thanks for the link Pieter. The list was not created by me but by the PolishFood site and followers on FB. (now to brush up on my Dutch)
