What do you guys use for shampoo? I for awhile have had a short bob hair cut but now im letting my hair grow out and was wondering if theres any better shampoo to use.
hi.................
The first depends on your genes and your diet.
The second depends on your diet and the conditioner you use. By having less hair breakages, your hair will grow longer faster.
thanks

All shampoos are not for all hair types. And yes there are a lot of factors: texture, density, wave pattern, porosity and your genes and diet of course. A good rule: Find one that is pH balanced. If your hair is weak, use protein enriched shampoo. If it is dry, use a hydrating shampoo, if you have hard water, use a clarifying shampoo. It's best to have a professional analyze your hair and get a professional shampoo designed for your hair type. Put the shampoo on the scalp, not on the ends...just rinse it through the ends. Put the conditioner on the ends and work it up to the scalp.
Hi Morning Dove, welcome to the BellaOnline Forum and glad to see you have started to post.
There are different shampoos for different types of hair. You need to take into consideration: texture, length, density, natural condition, water condition, and if you've done chemical services to your hair.
I always recommend professional products as they are ph balanced and have more selection for your personal needs. Plus, with a professionals help, you can get better advice on what to choose. Additionally, most salons will take back the product and allow you to try another one as long as you haven't used a ton of the product out of the bottle.
I used lore'l products, really great for long hairs.

I have use garnier, it's good for long hair.
Their are various good shampoo available in the market, but according to me the one which is herbal is the best and have no side effect.
Just because the product say's it's "herbal" does not mean it is the best, nor does it mean there are no side effects.
You have to be very careful of product's that claim they are herbal, all-natural, etc.
Do research and find the product that works best for Your hair
My hair is to my waist and it gets quite tangled and knotty and I hate brushing it!! I use TRESemme Salon Silk shampoo and conditioner.
When that runs out I alternate with Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship with red raspberry and Brazilian silk!
Once a week if I remember I comb olive oil or almond oil through it and leave it for as long as I can then wash it out.
Peace
