Be careful with what chemicals you are using and how often, if you already have thin hair, it can be very damaging.

krystal is right, any un-neccasary chemicals in thinning hair could do potentially alot more damage. Maybe look for some natual hair products that dont have damaging chemicals in them like staying away from SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) which strips the hair. Also if you want it to be straight more you could opt for investing in a good hair straightener, but only using it on occasions where you would really like straight hair. Or if its used more regularly using a heat protectant on your hair

Start using olive oil in your hair to control friz.

Also be careful with using olive oil, you might want to keep that with the cooking. Yes it can be beneficial but not enough to condider using a lot. With a case that involves fine hair you don't want a heavy oil on your hair, that would only weigh it down, and may just cause your hair to be greasier sooner. There are other products you can use for frizz on thin hair, a lighter product.
