I was talking to a friend of mine this morning who got tickets to a Spanglish screening last night. She said that Sandler was really very good and believable in his role. Not at all a typical Adam Sandler movie. This has piqued my interest
New Movies I've Seen:
National Treasure
Blade: Trinity
Old(er) Movies I'm About to See (new dvds I've gotten for the holidays)
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai (special edition)
All three extended versions of The Lord of the Rings movies (that's gonna hurt soooooo good)
Did anyone see Ocean's 12 this weekend? I didn't get a chance to but I'm anxious to hear what you thought!!
Still looking forward to Ocean's 12 and Spanglish. Saw "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" on tv last night...there are some really amusing scenes!!
I saw CHRISTMAS with the KRANKS
which everyone in the theater (children included) seemed to really enjoy.
I want to see:
OCEAN'S 12
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA(loved the play)
CLOSER(Clive Owen. YES!)
TRINITY(was this better than the second one?
SPANGLISH(hate the title-Like Sandler)

Roni, I saw Closer, and enjoyed it, but I think it will be quite a shock for some fans...not quite the Julia film we're used to seeing her in. Still, I found it very good.
I forgot to add Phantom of the Opera to my list as well! Definitely looking forward to that one...
And Moe, I lOVE Bend it Like Beckham...that's a movie I don't get tired of seeing
Did anyone see Oprah on Monday? Adam Sandler was on promoting Spanglish. I didn't have a chance to catch it.
I have about 400 movies queued up on Netflix, and there's many more I'd like to see.
